Victor Hernandez

Meet Victor Hernandez. Currently, Victor sells different types of toys such as plastic toy guns, carts, dolls, and much more. He has participated in the Mercado since July 2018. Victor’s participation in the Mercado began because he noticed that there were children playing in the park and there was no vendor selling toys.  “I thought it would be a good idea to participate.”

Victor likes to sell toys in the Mercado because they bring back fond memories as a child. He says, “When I was a kid I remember when I was excited to get a toy but my parents couldn’t always buy it for me then, what I did was create wooden cars and used different materials to create the tires.”

Victor has dedicated himself to selling toys in the Mercado making sure their prices are affordable for every child who wants to have a toy. He says, “I now feel responsible for creating a smile on the face of children when they are surprised by my toys.”
